For beginners: basic rudiments, and basic exercizes on the drums, and after a competent level of stick control is acheieved, the basics of reading are tought as the student develops, the exercizes become more complicated, emphasizing coordination, both left and right side, reading levels are advanced, until the student achieves a level of professional reading and performance.

For intermediate students: full rudimental list, with examination of reading skills. Reading lessons are based on the individual student's abilities. Drumming exercizes are intermediate the intermediate level, based on Jo Jones's hi-hat style, and Joe Morello's exercizes with variations.

Advanced and professional drummers study polyrythmic styles, developing their own melodic solos and trading 16, 8, 4, 2, and one bar solos within the polyrhythmic framework. The reading level is advanced, according to the student's abilities. Polyrhytmiic reading is emphasized, with the objective of achieving the ability to sight-read the most advanced materal and charts.
